Description

BRIEFING FOR INDUSTRY 2006 The Professional Aerospace Contractors Association (PACA) of New Mexico, with the co-sponsorship of Air Force Research Laboratory, will host the twentieth annual BRIEFING FOR INDUSTRY on August 15 and 16, 2006 at the Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town (formerly Sheraton Old Town Hotel) in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Additionally, there will be a three hour Air Force Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) workshop the afternoon of Monday, August 14. During this comprehensive two day event, the participating military and government agencies will describe their missions, share their program objectives and plans, and identify contracting opportunities to the audience of current and prospective contractors. Presentation topics will include: research and development; test and evaluation; technical and analytical support; operations and maintenance; systems procurement; and facilities construction. Participating organizations include: Air Force Research Laboratory (all directorates); National Reconnaissance Office; Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) - Detachment 12; Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center (AFOTEC); 46th Test Group; Air Force and AFRL/Kirtland AFB Small Business Office; Air Force Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Office; Sandia National Laboratories (SNL); Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL); Army Research Laboratory (ARL); New Mexico Office of Space Commercialization; NASA Johnson Space Center/White Sands Test Facility; White Sands Missile Range; the High Energy Laser Joint Technology Office; and the DOE/National Nuclear Security Administration. Distinguished guest speakers are also planned.
