- The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards Air Force Base, CA is seeking potential sources capable of providing two (2) Omni Directional Link- 16 Antennas and two (2) Band Stop Filters. Salient characteristics of these items are described below: Omni Directional Link-16 antenna for open-air transmission and reception (Qty: 2) Frequency: 960 ? 1215 MHz Polarization: Linear (Vertical) Power Rating: 200 W @ 50% Duty Cycle Gain: 7 dBi or higher Band stop filter for 1030MHz and 1090 MHz plus harmonics for use with Link-16 (MIDS) antennas and terminals (Qty: 2) Passbands: from DC to 1008MHz, from 1053MHz to 1065MHz, from 1113MHz to 1215MHz Rejection from 1023MHz to 1037MHz, 1083MHz to 1097MHz, and 1900MHz to 4000MHz: 30dB min Passband Insertion Loss: 2.0 dB max Power Handling: 200W peak max Connectors: Input N-Female/ Output N Female Please note that this synopsis is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for competitive bids/proposals and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the Antennas and Filters described above. Firms responding to this synopsis must identify their company?s capabilities to perform the requirements described herein, reference the synopsis number and indicate whether or not that they are a small or small disadvantaged business concern as defined in FAR 52.219-1. The NAICS code is 423690. The Small Business size standard is 100 employees. The information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Air Force not to open the requirement to open competition, based on response to this sources sought synopsis, is solely within the discretion of the Air Force. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this sources sought synopsis. It is anticipated that a Firm Fixed Price contract will be awarded in July of 2006.
