- CLARIFICATION TO TECHNICAL QUESTIONS: 1) Question: What does "manual control" of the model positioning system mean? Is this an engage / disengage hand crank? Or, is it a hand-operated toggle switch to run the position motors? Answer: Manual, motorized control means by switch, knob (potentiometer or other) or any other electrical device for motor actuation to precisely position the model. Hand cranks with a reasonable gearing, minimal torque, etc. would also be considered. 2) Question: What is the required "roll" range? Answer: +/- 90 degrees will be adequate. The NAICS code is 541710. The following items will be procured: The following item will be procured: Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical quote, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government's requirement. In addition, the response should include any special requirements for a Research and Development contract in accordance with FAR Part 13. Anticipated Award date is 30 June 2006. Responses must be received no later than (NLT) 4:00 p.m., Pacific Standard Time, 20 June, 2006.
