- The 96th Contracting Squadron, Eglin AFB, Florida intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract for an accelerometer workstation. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the ONLY solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is FA2823-06-P-3085 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-09. This notice is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The associated NAICS code is 334419 and small business size standard is 500. The requirement consists of the following items: CLIN 0001: WORKSTATION, CALIBRATION ACCELEROMETER. THE SYSTEM IS TURNKEY, FULLY AUTOMATED, STEP SINE EXCITED AND BASED ON FFT. SYSTEM ALLOWS NIST TRACEABLE CALIBRATION IN 5 Hz TO 10 KHz BANDWITH. P/N: MODEL 9155C CLIN 0002: OPTION FOR 9155C WORKSTATION. BASIC AUTOMATED LINEARITY CHECK ON TEST ACCELEROMETER FROM 1G TO 20G WITH SEAMLESS TRANSITION FROM FREQUENCY RESPONSE TEST. P/N: 9155C-501 CLIN 0003: OPTION FOR MODEL 9155C. HIGH FREQUENCY 2 TO 15 kHz. INCLUDES 396C10 AIR BEARING SHAKER AND ENHANCED SOFTWARE FOR HIGH FREQUENCY OPERATION. P/N: 9155C-830.Offerors shall provide a brand name or equal. FAR Clause 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal applies to this acquisition. Offerors providing an or-equal product shall provide specification sheets or product literature for evaluation by the requesting activity with their proposal submission.
