- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F2XJA86158A100 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR 13. The solicitation document and incorporation provisions and clause are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-09, AFAC 2006-0515, AETC FAR Sup (1 Nov 2005), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement, and Defense Change Notice (DCN) 20060519. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System code is 334220 with a small business size standard of 750 employees. CLIN 0003 12 Each Multi-Charger (6) Bay; ICOM BC-121N Or Equal; CLIN 0004 3 Each Repeater VHF 2-45 Watt; ICOM CY F121S DP Or Equal. CLIN 0005 30 Each Spare Stubby Antenna; ICOM FA-SC56VS Or Equal. CLIN 0006 3 Each Base Station; ICOM F121 51 B Or Equal. These items are to be delivered to 550 E. Maxwell Blvd., Maxwell AFB, AL, 36112-6424. Basis for Award: Award will be made to the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable offer. Partial quotes will not be accepted. Only one (1) award will be made as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation. Offerors responding to this requirement must include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications ?Commercial Items (March 2005), DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representation and Certifications?Commercial Items (June 2005), and DFARS 252.225-7000, Buy American Act-- Balance Payment Program Certificate (June 2005) with the quotation.
