- This solicitation announcement is to notify interested parties of the FAA's intentions to procure the following Construction Services. The NAICS code is 238160. This announcement does not obligate the FAA to procure the services so listed for the Re-roofing of Building 211 and Roof Top Air Duct Demolition. General contractors are to perform 50% of the work. This building is located at the William J. Hughes Technical Center, Atlantic City International Airport, Pomona, New Jersey, 08405. The work includes but is not limited to, demolition, roofing and lighting protection. The period of performance is 45 days from the notice to proceed. A mandatory site visit will be held July 13 2006, at 9:00 am EST with all parties meeting at the Security Operations Center Main Gate. Specifications, drawings, and the solicitation will be distributed to site visit members only. Estimated price range for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Bid bond shall be 20% of proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price are required after notification of award. A Firm Fixed Price type contract will be utilized. Proposals will only be accepted from site visit participants. If you intend to participate in the site visit, contact the Contracting Officer via e-mail of your desire to attend. All proposals are due July 27, 2006, at 2:00 pm EST.
