- The U.S. Department of State intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with RG II Technologies, Inc., 1997 Annapolis Exchange Parkway, Suite 210, Annapolis, MD 21401 under authority of FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is for continued implementation, maintenance, enhancement, and support to incorporate new budget regulations, etc., for the Department's worldwide budget and planning systems, to include required modifications to the Central Resource Management System (CRMS), and its other subcomponents, including the Allotment Control System (ACS), etc., for the Department's Office of State Programs, Operations, and Budget. --ADDITIONAL DETAIL: This is a follow-on contract for continued implementation, maintenance, enhancement, and support for the Department?s worldwide budget and planning systems. The primary systems to be supported are based on proprietary software packages solely owned by RG II Technologies. The contractor will be required to maintain and support the legacy core systems and interfaces and to provide the services necessary to develop improvements which enhance the functionality and efficiency of the systems. The contract period will be for a base year with four (4) one year option periods. The total estimated value of these services for the base and option periods is $19 million.-- The proposed contract action for software maintenance and enhancement is to be issued off the vendor's GSA Federal Supply Schedule. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals.
