- Description
- This is a pre-solicitation notice of the intent to conduct a commercial item acquisition. The United States Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to purchase various VALVES, ELBOWS, ADAPTERS, TEES, NIPPLES, FLANGES, REDUCERS, AND BUSHINGS. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination, USCG Engineering Logistics Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Bldg. 88, Receiving Room, Baltimore, MD 21226. A complete description of the items, quantities, and time of delivery will be included in the Request for Quotation (RFQ) HSCG40-06-Q-40399. All responsible sources are invited to subject a quotation/proposal, which shall be considered by this agency. All technical data required to respond to the solicitation will be furnished as part of the RFQ. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. Request for Quotation (RFQ) HSCG40-06-Q-40399 shall be available for download from FedBizOpps (http://www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about June 26, 2006. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor the EPS systems for changes or amendments to the quotation. In accordance with FAR Case 2002-24, Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-26, and FAR Subpart 4.12 - Annual Representations and Certifications, the use of ORCA became mandatory as of January 1, 2005. ORCA is available through the Business Partner Network (BPN) at http://www.bpn.gov. Contractors will use ORCA to electronically submit annual Representations and Certifications (Reps & Certs). Contractors will no longer be required to submit hard copies of their Reps & Certs with each proposal. For contractors to be able to upload their Reps & Certs to ORCA, they must have an active Central Contractor Registration (CCR) record and a Marketing Partner Identification Number (MPIN).
