- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Applied Biosystems, Inc., 850 Lincoln Centre Drive, Foster City, CA 94404 for reagents. These reagents are optimized for use in existing CDC-owned ABI equipment and are proprietary and distributed only by the vendor. They include Terminator Ready Reaction Kits version 3.1, 3130 Performance Optimized Polymer 7, 96-Well Optical Reaction Plate with barcode, 96-Well Plate, Water, Waste and Buffer Septa, 50 cm 3130xl/3100 Capillary Array, 36 cm 3130xl/3100 Capillary Array, HiDi Formamide, 10x Genetic Analysis Buffer with EDTA, Fast Optical 96-well Reaction Plate with Barcode and Optical Adhesive Film. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 6.302-2. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued.
