***** This Modification to change the Response, Issue and Start Work Dates ***** ***ESTIMATED ISSUE DATE Electronically in Federal Business Opportunities June 27, 2006 Correction to Issue date will be July 6, 2006 ***. Project consists of producing two documents; 1) Management Strategy and; 2) Interpretive and Design Guide for West Cascades National Scenic Byway. The scope of this integrative and updating process is to capture thoughts from community members and Forest Service personnel on opportunities, which can include closure of existing sites, relocation, future expansion options and new types or changes in recreation activities for byway travelers. To maximize Government and stakeholder involvement, presentations will take place in Estacada, McKenzie Bridge, and Oakridge. The Forest Service will set up public presentation places, will issue notification, and will assist in facilitation. The contractor will make the presentations and will capture ideas. Project is located on the Willamette National Forest. Contract performance time is 180 calendar days.
