- Description
- Work will consist of locating, measuring and recording data for inventory plots. Information shall be collected as outlined in the R1 Common Stand Exam Field Guide and FIA Intensification Field Guide except where specifically modified by this contract. Additions are described in detail in Exhibit C.The project area includes the entire Tally Lake Ranger District West of the Stillwater River, except for a few isolated parcels in the southern portion of the District. The project area for Tally Lake Ranger District, Flathead National Forest, is approximately 209,828 acres. Also included is the entire Inland Unit on the Swan Lake Ranger District, an area of approximately 46,478 acres. Boundaries are shown on the maps in Exhibit A. The work is estimated to start on August 3, 2006. Contract time will be 90 calendar days. Bids are due July 28, 2006. The solicitation will be available on approximately July 10, 2006, and can be downloaded from this site at that time.
