- The Naval Air Systems Command has a requirement for course curriculum development for their Business and Financial Management (BFM) community employees. This will be a firm-fixed price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract. The contract is projected to have a base period of performance of one year, with two one-year options. In November 2005 a study of NAVAIR BFMs was conducted to identify areas of improvement and a potential course listing that could be developed to better the areas identified. NAVAIR wishes to develop a curriculum through a group of various courses to train all of the BFMs nationwide. Offerors will be required to design a curriculum and courses based on the areas of improvement identified in the Statement of Objectives. This requirement will be procured on an unrestricted basis. The NAICS code for this requirement is 611310 and the applicable size standard is $6.5 million. This requirement will be procured under FAR 13.5, Simplified Acquisition Procedures Test Program. This requirement was previously announced in a sources sought notice (reference number BFM2006). It is projected for that the solicitation for this requirement will be released sometime in mid-July.
