Description

Item: Slide Assembly, NSN: 1005-01-251-9690, Part Number: 12597048. Requirements are a guaranteed minimum quantity of 4,000 each Slide Assembly for use on the M240 series Machine Guns. The Slide Assembly , Rear Sight Assembly of manufactured parts consisting of: Slide P/N 12597049, 2-Catch P/N: 12597050 2-Pin Straight headless de P/N: 12597052,Spring, Catch P/N: 12597051. Note: Catch material requirements calls out alternate material to be manufactured from bar stock This PLT is compiled using an invesstment casting aas called out for in note 2 section B of print material requirements. The resulting contract will be awarded as a 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quanitiy (IDIQ) contract. The estimated total maximum quantity is 39,000 each Sli de Assembly. FOB is destination. The estimated issue date is 17 July 2006. Proposed contract is a 100% small business set-aside. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Date Package (TDP)that cannot be provided via the Internet. Vendors, who need a TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal must sign the non-disclosure and non-use agreement, which will be included as an attachment to the solicitation. Signed copies of the non-disclosure and non-use agreement must be completed and submitted to the fax number provided on the agreement before the TDP will be mailed. Any said requests must contain the following information: CAGE Code ( if available). Company name,Point of contact, Stree Address, City, State, Zip Code, Telephone Number. A TDP will be pro vided by normal mail after the solicitation has been released to the Internet and the non-disclosure and non-use agreement has been executed. A License Agreement between FN Herstal and the US requires the items procured under solicitation agrees to manufa cture the items being procured under this contract, exclusively within the US and Canada. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR4.502 and 5.102
