- Description
- The Capital District Contracting Center plans to award a sole source contract to Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh, PA. Mellon Arena is a facility that possesses all the technical accommodations and support personnel to produce the caliber of presentation required by the U. S. Army Military District of Washington for the Spirit of America performances. The period of set-up and performance at Mellon Arena will be from 11through 16 September 2006, inclusive. Mellon Arena rental and support services will be p rovided at an estimated total cost of $400,500.00. In accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by paragraph 6.302-1 ONLY ONE RESPONSIBLE SOURCE AND NO OTHER SUPPLIES OR SERVICES WILL SATISFY AGENCY REQUIREMENTS, subparagraph 6.302-1(b)(1)(ii) o f the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
