- Description
- The 642 Combat Sustainment Group Contracting Office at Robins AFB, GA, has a requirement for 50,000 and 210,000 gallon collapsible fuel tanks. The technical specifications will be outlined in a purchase description. The Government intends to award a five-year, firm-fixed price, Requirements contract with Best Estimated Quantities (BEQs). The RFP and resultant contract will be structured with one basic contract period of 12 months and four annual option periods. BEQs for the 50,000 gallon tank will be as follows - Basic year: 65 ea; Opt I: 50 ea; Opt II: 50 ea; Opt III: 50 ea; Opt IV: 40 ea for a total BEQ of 255ea. BEQs for the 210,000 gallon tank will be as follows: Basic year: 75 ea; Opt I: 75 ea; Opt II: 75 ea; Opt III: 75 ea; Opt IV: 30 ea for a total BEQ of 330ea. Line items will also be included for mandatory testing and data requirements. FAR 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, procedures will be used. Award will be made utilizing AFFARS 5315 and Mandatory Procedures MP5315.3 full Source Selection procedures. The RFP and resultant contract will be set aside 100% for small business concerns. It is anticipated that the RFP will be released to FedBizOpps on or around 7 Jul 06. Due date will be 45 days after release of solicitation and will be referenced in the RFP. See Notes 1 & 9.
