The Solicitation FA8103-06-Q-0644 will be issued around 6 July 2006 and the solicitation Due Date should be around 7 Aug 2006. Item needed is: Trestle, Hoist Port, and NSN: 3950-01-384-4508KR, P/N: DAA7294G751-005, Quantity 2 and the Unit of Issue is EACH. The delivery destination will be ONE (1) item to Tinker Air Force Base Oklahoma the other ONE (1)item to the UK and the deliver date will be 28 Feb 2007. The anticipated award date will be 30 Aug 2006. SUPLUS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT. This is a SOLE SOURCE AWARD and the Government does not have the DATA or DRAWINGS. This award will be EVALUATED as Lowest Price Technical Acceptable LPTA and the criteria are in the L and M segments of the solicitation. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requester is acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C) (1), Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel.
