Description
The Transportation Security Administration Contracts and Procurement Branch is establishing a Qualified Vendor List (QVL) for hotel accommodation in the vicinity of the Atlantic City International Airport. This acquisition for is prepared in accordance with the TSA Acquisition Management System (TSA AMS). : http://www.tsa.gov/public/display?theme=84&content=0900051980013479 This Screening Information Request (SIR) seeks to pre-qualify potential vendors and include them in a QVL. Those vendors that are included in the QVL will be eligible to receive future solicitation(s), and compete for subsequent contract award for this hotel travel during the next 5 years. The estimated value of the resultant contract or delivery order(s) is between $10,000.00 and $4.8 million. In accordance with AMS Clause ?Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside? (February 2003) 3.6.1-1, this acquisition is set aside for small businesses. The following ?go/no-go? criteria will be the screening factors for acceptance of a Vendor onto the Qualified Vendor?s List: 1. The Vendor must be classified as a small business. 2. The Vendor?s hotel property must be located within six (6) miles of the Atlantic City International Airport. 3. The Vendor?s hotel property must demonstrate compliance with FEMA and OSHA regulations. 4. The Vendor?s hotel property must be able to accommodate reservations up to ninety-six (96) rooms per night. 5. The Vendor must be able to provide transfers to and from its hotel to and the Philadelphia International Airport. Submission of Qualification Statement and Certification: Interested vendors should complete Section K attached and submit a Qualification Statement that addresses and responds to the five mandatory acceptance criteria above. The submittal should not exceed five (5) page pages (sized to no smaller than 10 point font and cover/index/ pages do not count against 5-page count). The Government will not extrapolate information from other sources if not provided in the qualification package, so potential vendors should address all elements in their response. Both the qualification statement and the completed Section K should be submitted electronically to Grace Kelly, Contracting Officer, DHS-TSA Contracts and Procurement Office at grace.kelly@dhs.gov . The Section K submittal will not be included in the page count restrictions. The due date for these submissions is (estimated at ten days) 2006 by 3 p.m. EST. The Government will not be responsible for bid and proposal cost or any other pre contract costs of any kind. TSA will evaluate the qualification statements and those vendors who meet the qualification requirements listed above will form the Qualified Vendors List and receive a request for proposal (RFP). The RFP will be issued on or about (estimated at the time of evaluation completion) with proposal submission on or about (estimated at two weeks later). The award is estimated for (within two weeks).
