- The Uniformed Services University of the Health and Sciences (USUHS), Bethesda, MD intends to acquire on a sole source basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)with Innovative Sports Training, Chicago, IL, to supply the MotionMonitor motion analysis system with integrated forceplates and motion analysis software. This system is a flock of birds type system used to capture kinematics and kinetic data related to human movement. The purpose for purchasing this equipment is to support JUMP-ACL, a multi-center, NIH-funded research protocol. To ensure scientific validity and data consistency across all sites, it is essential that all participating sites use the same data collection hardware and software and the same data reduction software. To be usable in the study, the purchased system must be identical to those used at other sites. This is not Request for Proposals (RFP). However, all interested parties may contact the Contracting Specialist for details. Sources interested in responding to this requirement must be able to provide convincing evidence that they posses the requisite expertise and experience to successfully supply the system specified above. Responses must be in writing and must be received in the office by June 29, 2006.
