- This is a Sources Sought announcement, a market survey for written information and a site survey only for the Naval Special Warfare Development Group, Virginia Beach, Virginia. The purpose of this announcement is to identify those small business companies with appropriate expertise that might be interested in responding to a formal solicitation for providing services and equipment to relocate all collateral equipment located in the machine shop, welding shop, carpenter shop, HVAC shop and electrical shop from Building 336 to Building P251. The task should take approximately seven (7) days with one (1) 60 ton crane, forklifts, rigging truck, two (2) 40? flats and one (1) low-boy trailer. A site survey has been scheduled for June 27, 2006 at 9:00am at NSWDG, Virginia Beach, Virginia. Interested parties shall contact Christine Anderson at canderson@nswdg.navy.mil with the following visitor request information: 1) name of visitor(s), company name, email address, phone number, make and model of car of driver, and last four of the social security number. Visit requests must be received by 12:00pm on June 22, 2006. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information and attending a site survey in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. Written responses to this notice and a request to attend the site survey for this sources sought notice are due no later than 12:00pm Eastern Standard Time (EST) on June 22, 2006.
