- Remove, recycle or dispose of excess/scrap wood, metals, concrete, fiberglas, pvc piping and miscellaeous materials. Contractor is responsible to thoroughly clean all areas where work is done, i.e. : remove nails from ground surface where wood pile is located and small wire, nuts and bolts from scrap metal areas. Some of the wood products contain CCA and creosote treatment products which must be buried at an approved landfill. Cost range: Between $25,000 and $100,000. Period of performance: September 5, 2006 through May 25, 2007. This RFQ will be issued electronically on the Department of Interior's National Business Center (NBC) web site at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be made available. Prospective offerors desiring to conduct business with DOI are required to register on the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website (http://www.ccr.gov). Be prepared with your company's DUNS number, available from Dun and Bradstreet at 1-888-546-0024, and Federal Tax Identification Number (TIN). Should any contract result from this solicitation the contractor shall be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds equal to 100 percent of the award amount. The contractor shall also be required to provide a valid Certificate of Insurance. This project is subject to the Service Contract Act. The applicable NAICS code for this project is 256211, unrestricted competition. Solicitation issue date is on or about (O/A) June 30, 2006 and will close O/A July 31, 2006 at 4:30pm MST (local time) unless extensions are issued in an amendment. The Government reserves the right to cancel this announcement and the resulting solicitation. This announcement does not constitute a solicitation.
