- The Bureau of Land Management, Colorado State Office is soliciting for offers for the Shelf Road Rec Site Improvement Project in Fremont County, Colorado. The project consists of: furnishing labor, equipment, supplies and materials to build two parking lots, build 4 camping units, resurface campgrounds and other landscaping needs around campsites, import and place rock barriers, level existing picnic tables, remove and rebuild about 250 feet of barbed wire fence, build a barbed wire gate and install government furnished kiosks. The solicitation willl be posted on or about July 3, 2006. A prebid site tour is offered July 11, 2006. Meet at the BLM office at 3170 East Main St, Canon City, CO 81212 at 8 am. Offers will be accepted via fax at (970)244-3130 or mail to BLM, EFO, 2815 H Rd, Grand Junction, CO 81506. Offers must be received no later than July 27, 2006 close of business.
