On 15 February 2006, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District, implemented a new procedure f or posting all NEW solicitations. The Electronic Bid Solicitations (EBS) system is no longer being used to post solicitations. The new system, called Federal Technical Data System (FedTeDS) http://www.fedteds.gov, is a web-based dissemination tool design ed to safeguard acquisition-related information for all Federal agencies. All prospective contractors and their subcontractor and suppliers must be registered in FedTeDS before they will be allowed to download solicitation information. You are urged to r ead the FAQs posted on the FedTeDS website to better understand this new process.
