- This synopsis is published for informational purposes only. The United States Army Communications - Electronic Life Cycle Management Command (C-E LCMC) intends to issue a modification to contract number W15P7T-05-D-L608 to XETRON Corporation, 460 W. Crescentville Rd., Cincinnati, OH pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source, to procure additional quantities of TD-1456/VRC Frequency Hopping Multiplexer (FHMUX). The estimated value of this modification is $74.7 million. Xetron is the develo per and the sole producer of the FHMUX, and possesses proprietary data associated with technologies and manufacturing processes used in the production of the FHMUX. XETRON is the only source which already has possession of all the drawings. The FHMUX is an antenna multicoupler, connecting four Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio Systems (SINCGARS) radios to a single antenna. The FHMUX reduces visual signature for the command vehicle, reduces Colocated Net-to-Net interference (Cosite), and reduces se t up time for the command post. Delivery Orders will be placed on a FFP basis for hardware. Government technical data package is incomplete. Government does not own all the data rights.
