- This will be a small business set-aside, firm fixed-price acquisition for three (3) each ground adapter with one outyear option quantity range of 1 - 5. NSN: 1730-00-917-4820RN, P/N: 4S10005-101A. FOB Destination: FE2300 (Wright Patterson AFB, OH), FE6422 (Memphis, TN), and FE6482 (Martinsburg, WV). This acquisition will include production of a first article test unit for unqualified sources, two (2) additional units and one outyear option with a quantity range of 1 - 5. This item is a cargo ramp adapter used for maintenance on the C-5 Aircraft as a heavy duty cradle to hold the forward cargo ramp, forward ramp extension, aft cargo ramp or the aft pressure door or the combination of two cradles is capable of handling an aft cargo center door. The cradle consists of a frame and six support assemblies which fit the contour of the various items held by the cradle. The support assemblies are stowed in the lower portion of the frame when not in use and are attached to the upper portion of the frame by detent pins when they are used to support an item. Predominant material of manufacture is 60% Steel / 40% Lumber (Douglas Fir). Delivery date of the test plan for approval is 60 days ARO contract. Point of Inspection & Acceptance is Destination. The government is in possession of the drawings/data package; therefore, all qualified offerors are encouraged to apply. EXPORT CONTROLLED INFORMATION. As a result, the data will not be posted with the solicitation.
