Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. INCLUDE THIS STATEMENT IF APPLICABLE: This requirement is set-aside 100% for Small Businesses. NAICS: 315211 SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD: 500 Employees The purchase of 336 sets of Battle Dress Uniforms IAW the attached Statement of Work: STATEMENT OF WORK FOR 100% COTTON BDU?S 1. All sets of NFPA BDU?s are required to be made of 100% cotton. Of the type, design and construction as those of Propper, Inc. or equivalent. Placement of stripes, badges and patches must be in accordance with AFI 36-2903. Contract statement of work will be as follows: a. Total requirement, 336 sets of Blouses and Trousers in Woodland camouflage, sizes will be provided to the successful contractor upon notification of award. b. BDU blouse requirements: All four (4) pockets as manufactured. 1name tapes with individual?s names, sewn over right pocket. 1 with US AIR FORCE, sewn over left pocket. Rank patches, sewn on left chest pocket. AFMC patches, sewn on right chest pocket. CE duty patch sewn on, above left chest pocket. Successful contractor will provide all patches, US AIR FORCE tapes and name tapes. c. BDU trouser requirements: Back pocket buttons as manufactured. Cargo pockets left as manufactured. d. Blouses and trousers must be delivered to 78CES Bldg. 1555. Prices should be FOB Destination (Robins AFB GA 31098). Request delivery date is 17 July 2006. The following Numbered Notes apply to this Solicitation: 22 The following clauses (current through FAC 2005-03 effective 11 Apr 05) are applicable to subject solicitation: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors; 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items; 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items ? Jan 05; 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items; and 52-212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders ? Commercial Items; DFARS 252.212-7000, and DFARS 252.211-7003 (Item Identification and Valuation) In accordance with Clause 52.212-2, the evaluation factors shall be price and price related factors. IAW FAR 52.212-3, Reps/Certs should be completed on-line at www.bpn.gov. Oral procedures will be used for this solicitation.
