- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued, paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. This is a commercial solicitation using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found in FAR Part 13, soliciatation no. FA4690-06-R-0007 and is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ) on 15 June 2006. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24. FAR clause descriptions are available via the Internet at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/. The set-aside for this solicitation is 100% small business. NAICS code: 332420. Size Standard: 1,000 employees. This solicitation is for the following: 600 Gallon Stainless Steel Low Profile bowser with complete vacuum system. Fuel Drain System to include the following: o Three Contoured Vacuum (suction) Plates with vacuum line and quick disconnect o One Elongated contoured Vacuum (suction) Plate with vacuum line and quick disconnect o Four Fuel Probes complete with 36? pigtail, transparent viewing section and dry disconnect o Four shielded duplex 35? Static Dissipating Hose Assemblies with transparent viewing section and dry quick disconnects o One Primary Venturi Vacuum Generator for fuel evacuation o Two Secondary Venturi Vacuum Generators for adhering up to four Suction Plates to aircraft fuel cells o One failsafe shutoff mechanism o One 25?, ?? static dissipating flexible depuddling hose o One 50; 1 ?? diameter static dissipating hose o One 16? Telescoping Funnel for gravity draining o One easily accessible sediment chamber to collect FOD o Four convenient hose racks for easy storage of 35? duplex hoses o Accessory kit with an assortment of poppet drain valve actuator pins, vacuum gel for airtight seals, and tools o 16? manway, screened vent, sight gauge fittings with sample port, drain with locking brass valve, and cam lock quick disconnect o Four-wheel undercarriage with two rear wheels equipped with brakes positive locking in both directions. Two front wheels are steerable and connected with a tow bar o Two side storage units, not mounted to bowser Defueler & undercarriage painted with Polyurethane: green with black stripe. The estimated date of delivery will be 20 July, 2006 with FOB: Destination for delivery to 28 CES , Ellsworth AFB, SD 57706. The Government will award a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government.
