- Announcement posted on May 26, 2006 for RFP 244-06-01430 for Elevator Upgrades is hereby amended to include the following: Solicitation will be issued o/a 6/20/06. Bidders are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments from the website unless you received a hard copy of the solicitation. If you submitted a non-refundable check for $250.00 made out to the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System you will be sent a copy of any amendments issued for this solicitation. There is a pre-bid meeting scheduled for July 6, 2006 at 10:30am at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, University Drive, Engineering Conference Room #AN216, Ground Floor, Pittsburgh, PA 15240. While the pre-bid is not mandatory, offerors are strongly encouraged to attend. Questions may be submitted to the Contracting Officer by email to Lynne.Dickerhoff@med.va.gov or by fax to 412-365-5444 no later than 6/28/06 so they can be addressed at the pre-bid meeting on July 6th. Further questions will be accepted by the Contracting Officer by email or fax until close of business on July 13, 2006, seven (7) calendar days after the pre-bid meeting; responses will be provided to all bidders on the bidders mailing list. Questions received later than seven (7) calendar days after the pre-bid meeting will not be addressed in the interest of adhering to the scheduled proposal due date of 7/24/06 at 2:00pm eastern standard time. Proposal due date is changed to July 24, 2006 at 2:00pm in lieu of July 13, 2006 at 10:00am.
