- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The VA National Acquisition Center will issue Request for Proposal (RFP) VA-797-06-RP-0060 for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Defense (DoD), and Indian Health Service (IHS) to procure Bupropion Hcl Tablets. The estimated annual usage is as follows: 23,479 bottles of 100mg tablets in bottles of 100s and 261,927 bottles of 75mg tablets in bottles of 100s. The estimated annual usage listed above is for VA, DoD and IHS. The Bureau of Prisons (BOP) requirements will be forthcoming and will be included in the solicitation once issued. The contract period will be for one year plus four one-year option periods. The contract items will be distributed through the VA and DoD's respective Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor(s). Offeror's must provide bar code labeling which includes at a minimum the NDC number. In addition, tablets must be compatible with automated dispensing units (Baxter ATC Canisters, Optifil, etc.). If the offeror is not a manufacturer, a signed agreement between the offeror and the manufacturer must be submitted with the offer and remain in effect for the duration of the contract period including the option years. OFFERS ARE NOT BEING SOLICITED AT THIS TIME. The solicitation will be available on or about the issue date of June 30 2006. If the solicitation is issued on June 30, 2006, offers will be due by 3:00 pm Central Standard Time on July 21, 2006.
