- Description
- The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials and facilities to develop a prototype to substantially reduce carbon monoxide emissions from gasoline powered portable gernerators. The objective of this effort is to demonstrate the technical feasibility of developing portable generators that very significantly reduce CO emissions, which could reduce the risk of CO poisoning deaths and injuries associated with this product category. All services shall be in accordance with the statement of work in the request for quotation (RFQ). The resultant contract shall be a indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity type contract. The anticipated issuance date of the RFQ is June 30, 2006 with a closing date of July 20, 2006. The performance period shall begin on the date of award and shall not extend beyond 360 calendar days.
