Description
Fleet Industrial Supply Center intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) seeking local exchange access commercial network service supporting subscriber service for the Jacksonville area Naval Complexes consisting of, Naval Air System (NAS) Jacksonville, Naval Hospital Jacksonville, Naval Station Mayport, Naval Aviation Depot Jacksonville and Cecil Commerce Center locations in Florida. NAS Jacksonville Complex Telephone Exchange Access Service Requirements for local exchange access commercial network service, path/interface to the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) to support simultaneous access, transmission and switching of voice, data and image services. Trunking service shall terminate on the Navy?s Lucent 5ESS telephone switching platforms at the following locations; NAS Jacksonville-Building 27, Naval Hospital Jacksonville-Building 2080, Naval Station Mayport, Fl-Building 50. In addition, trunking service shall terminate on the Navy?s Avaya G3CSI and Avaya G3SI telephone switching platforms at Cecil Commerce Center, 6206 Aviation Avenue, Jacksonville Florida. Present inventory counts on all schedules are not inclusive. Services are required for a base period of one year with four one-year options. The procurement will be issued for full and open competition. The government anticipates the award of a fixed price contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this action is 517110 with the size standard of 1,500 employees. Primary place of performance will be the Northeast Florida Region, Jacksonville The RFP will be transmitted via www. fedizopps.gov GPE. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon all interested parties to review this site frequently for update/amendments to any and all documents. All responsible sources may submit a proposal in response to the solicitation. Prospective offerors are required to supply the name and address of their company; a point of contact name; e-mail address; and telephone number with their proposal. On-line RFP's are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. No paper copies will be issued. No telephone inquiries for this RFP will be honored. It is the responsibility of the recipient of this solicitation to insure that it and subsequent amendments have been received from the Internet in their entirety. FISCJAX bears no responsibility for data errors resulting from transmission or the conversion process. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available on or about 28 June 2006.
