Description
The Military Sealift Command requires one U.S. flag tug to provide harbor support services and ship handling for the region of Oahu, Hawaii, generally within the confines of Pearl Harbor, including from Papa Hotel Buoy (two (2) miles from channel opening). Service will include towing of government-owned ammunition barges from West Lock or any Oahu harbor to sea (ten to twenty miles) and returning. This contract is for requirements that cannot be satisfied with government owned, controlled or time-chartered vessels (both current and follow-on contracts). MSC anticipates a requirements type contract with a period of performance from 3 July 06 to 1 August 06. RFP will be available on MSC's webpage http://www.msc.navy.mil -> Contracts -> Requests for Proposal/Quotation (RFP/RFQ) after 20 June 06.
