Technical Questions: Technical inquiries are to be submitted via Bidder Inquiry in ProjNet at www.projnet.org\prognet W912HN-06-R-0009 Bidder Inquiry Key N749FS-WZ33II. The contract will be Firm -Fixed Price (FFP). The project will be solicited and procured using a Performance Price Trade-Off request for proposal in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15. The estimated cost range is $10,000,000.00 to $25,000,000.00. Options may be included. Network Analysis will be required. This solicitation is issued on an unrestricted basis pursuant to the Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988. Contractors must register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr .gov. After completing CCR, in order to download specifications and drawings contractors and their subcontractors must register at Federal Technical Data System (FedTeDS) at www.fedteds.gov. In order to locate solicitation Contractors can go to FedBizOp ps and search for the solicitation number at www.fedbizopps.gov. Contractors can also locate solicitation link at https://ebs.swf.usace.army.mil/ebs/AdvertisedSolicitations.cfm?Seldist=SAS. Contractors can register to be put on a plan holders list that ot hers can access through the FedBizOpps site. It is the Offerors responsibility to check the Internet address provided as necessary for any posted changes to this solicitation and all amendments. Description of work: Construct a new elementary school to serve pre-kindergarden through 6th grade students and a junior high school addition to serve 7th grade through 9th grade students. The elementary school will include general purpose classrooms, art classroom, music classroom, computer labs, gymnasium, mu ltipurpose room with stage and kitchen, specialists rooms, information center, administrative offices, teacher work rooms, and supply/storage rooms. The school will incorporate advanced communication systems to support technology program requirements, as well as general communications. The project scope for the elementary school will also include utilities, parking, bus loading/unloading area, playground, sports facilities, signage, fencing, landscaping, and security lighting. The junior high school add ition will include the addition of general purpose classrooms and toilet facilities.
