Description
The United States Army Communications-Electronics Lifecycle Management Command (C-E LCMC) intends to procure Twenty Nine (29), Primary Power Cable Assemblies in accordance with drawing number SM-D-974850-2, and NSN 5995-01-142-2691. This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 12.603 and FAR 5.207 as supplemented with additional information included with this notice. This announcement constitutes the o nly solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is an Invitation For Bid (IFB), W15P7T-06-B-J414. The proposed acquisition is to be a Firm Fixed Price, Contract. The opening bid d ate for this solicitation is to be determined. We will give all interested parties in this solicitation five (5) days prior notice to the opening date to submit their bids. This procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The small business size standard is 500 employees for the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 335931. The shipments are to be FOB Destination. The items will be shipped to the N ew Cumberland Facility, New Cumberland, PA. The delivery schedule shall be 15 each 150 days after contract award and 14 each 180 days after contract award. Packaging and Packing shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-129. BASIS FOR AWARD: The Government intends to make an award to the Contractor who submits the lowest, responsive bid, and is deemed acceptable and responsible by the Contracting Officer. The Offerors must submit bids on the full quantity identified. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to make no award under this procedure. A written solicitation and drawings can be viewed on the Interactive Business Opportunity Page (IBOP). The US Army C-E LCMC has established the IBOP website as part of the Armys Single Face to Industry, to allow electronic posting of Solicitation for Req uest for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotations (RFQs), and Invitations for Bids (IFBs) from C-E LCMC to industry. All parties interested in doing business with C-E LCMC are invited to access, operate, send and receive information from the IBOP at http: //abop.monmouth.army.mil.
