Description

This office intends to competitively award a FFP type contract for 3 ea special protected sedans (FSC 2310) to include drivers training. Vehicles shall be assembled s an integral armor structural component design. Armoring shall be performed durin g assembly line manufacturing of the vehicle. After market, up-amoring of the vehicle is not acceptable. Minimum ballistic protection shall be IAW testing procedures utilized by the Bundeskriminalamt (BKA) and U.S. testing certification procedures. Vehi cles must conform to current Department of State (DOS) specifications and standards for explosive, blast and arms protection. Vehicles are for overseas use shall meet the applicable requirements of the German Strassenverkehrs-Zulassungsordnung (StZVO). V ehicles shall be delivered 150 DARO or earlier. Delivery shall be FOB destination within Germany. Anticipated issue date of the RFQ is on or about 03 July 06 with a closing date of 24 July 06. Procurement is being conducted IAW requirements of FAR Part 13, Subpart 13.5 and FAR Part 12. Interested parties may request a copy of the SOL from the above POC (email/fax).
