Description

THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY (SOURCES SOUGHT) AND NOT A SOLICITATION. The sources sought notice is issued for the purpose of determining if there are at least two or more responsible business concerns capable of meeting performance requirements. The government intends to use NAICS 561621. The United States Air Force Academy has a requirement for the maintenance and repair of approximately twenty five Ansul R-102 wet/dry chemical, restaurant type fire suppression systems on the installation. Work includes inspection, testing, certification, preventive maintenance and repair of systems. A provision for a 2 hour on-call emergency response is incorporated. Contractor provides personnel, vehicles, equipment, tools, supplies, parts under $30, supervision and other items or services necessary. Contract employess must have at least five years experience in maintaining fire suppression systems and hold NICET I and Ansul certifications. Ansul replacement parts must be used. Performance period is projected from 1 Oct 06 - 30 Sep 07, plus four one-year option periods that may be exercised by the government.
