Description

1) Vertical Lift Module (VLM) for bearing storage shall be in accordance with the attached Statement of Objectives (see Solicitation) and include Technical and Cost proposals resulting in a complete ?turn-key? project for one (1) Vertical Storage ASRS Unit. Comprehensive ?Installation?, ?Training? and ?Scheduled Maintenance? plans will be submitted as part of the ?Technical Proposal?. 2) The proposed unit must have a commercial application for Storage and Retrieval System of the Vertical Lift Module type using NEMA standards, Occupational Safety and Health Standards, and NFPA 70 National Electric Code standards. 3) Equipment requirements will include the VLM and all components and sub-components to be new and the manufacturer?s current model designed for industrial application. The VLM Storage System shall be based on a design of efficiently stored parts in vertically arranged retrievable type storage trays, which are conveniently delivered to an ergonomic work station (access port) via a high-speed shuttle type extractor. The supporting frame shall be capable of sustaining the entire operating system, under full load conditions, with all external panels removed. 4) All parts will be manufactured to definite dimensions and tolerances that will permit installation of replacement parts, without modification of any part, or to the system. Dimensions: 86 inches width X 122 inches depth. Height shall not exceed 152?.
