- Crash Cleanup Description - Discrete areas of soils were directly impacted by the fire, and by the carbon fibers and metallic aircraft components it liberated, as well as petroleum products that were not fully consumed in the fire. These impacted areas of soil require environmental restoration by removal, replacement and disposal at a properly licensed/permitted facility. Field reconnaissance indicates that an estimated 1228 tons of soil will require removal.
