Description

The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC), Office of Inspector General (OIG) is seeking a contractor to provide technical and user support for its staff, information technology systems and applications. The scope of this support would include LAN Administration, Systems Administration, Network Administration for a secure network serving the OIG staff and contractors, day-to-day application support in a mixed Microsoft Windows and Linux environment, maintaining laptops, desktops, servers, Terminal Services, Active Directory, and Exchange. Services will be concentrated in PBGCs Office of Inspector General at the address noted above and along with its current systems backup location in Wilmington, Delaware. The period of performance for the base contract will be from August 2, 2006 through September 30, 2007 and four (4) one-year options for renewal thereafter at PBGCs discretion. The solicitation document will be distributed through the FedBizOpps.gov web site. The site contains downloading instructions. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to assure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation and any amendments will not be available. The solicitation is not currently available, but estimated to be available on or about June 26, 2006. All responsible sources may submit a proposal for consideration by the PBGC.
