- The work to be performed under this contract shall consist of furnishing all labor, tools, parts, materials, facilities and transportation necessary to repair built-up roofs, sheet metal roofs, fiberglass shingle roofs, membrane roofs and flashing, and install complete new roofing of various types as required on various buildings or structures and incidental related work located on Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi. This acquisition will be a 100% Competitive Hub-Zone Set-Aside with no geographical restrictions, utilizing Performance Price Trade-off (PPT) Procedures. The anticipated period of performance will consists of One (1) Basic Period of One (1) Year, and two (2) Option Periods of Six (6) Months each, not to exceed a total of twenty-four months. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO POTENTIAL CONTRACTORS: Keesler AFB, MS is in the midst of an A-76 Study for a Base Operating Support Contract. If the A-76 Study remains on schedule, the Options may not be exercised. Interested responsible hub-zone sources may submit a proposal. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238160. The size standard is $13.0 Million. Magnitude of proposed construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This will be a Requirements Type Contract for which the Government does not guarantee any minimum amount of work after award. The Solicitation Package, Specifications, and Drawings (if applicable), will tentatively be posted on the FedBizOpps Website: http://www.eps.gov on/or around 27 Jun 06 with a tentative closing date of 28 Jul 06. All Contractors wishing to do business with the Government are required to register in the DOD Central Contractor Registry (CCR) Database prior to any subsequent award. CCR Registration may be accomplished online at http://www.ccr.gov. Contractors are further advised that failure to register in the DOD Central Registration Database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. The single source of entry for all documentation pertaining to this acquisition will be http://www.fbo.gov.
