- Description
- The Forest Service is seeking forestry related services for inventory of forested stands according to specifications detailed in NRIS FSVEG Common Stand Exam Users Guide, Version 1.7., on the Republic Ranger District, Colville National Forest. Work shall consist of locating, establishing, measuring, recording, and downloading (or inputting) data for sample plots. The sought end item result is to support silviculture and fuels work in several wildland urban interface (WUI) projects. The contract term will be for three years with indefinite quantities. The initial task order value will be $25,000 with as many plots to be provided in accordance with unit prices awarded up to that obligated limit. Inventory work shall be conducted on the west slopes of the Kettle Mountains between Tonasket Mountain and Lambert Creek in Ferry County, Washington and with the initial task order work to be completed by end of field season 2006.
