- This contract requires drilling a vertical potable water well at the Big Bar Ranger Station, Shasta-Trinity National Forest, to serve as the primary drinking water source. This includes furnishing labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies and incidentals. PROJECT LOCATION: From Redding, California travel on CA-299 west for approximately 68 miles to the Big Bar Ranger Station located on the north side of highway. Site legal description is T33N, R12W, NW 1/4 of Section 5. PRICE RANGE: Less than $25,000. CONTRACT TIME:30 calendar days. ESTIMATED START WORK: After August 15, 2006. Solicitation estimated issue date is June 27, 2006, with an estimated due date of July 27, 2006. The solicitation will be posted on the FedBizOpps website for viewing and printing. PRE-BID TOUR: A prebid tour is not scheduled. BONDING: Bonding will be required of the successful quoter at time of award.
