- Description
- The Department of Defense Dependents Schools (DoDDS) Pacific intends to procure Microsoft Office 2003 Professional Software Licenses using a Firm-Fixed-Price Requirements, delivery order, type contract on an other than full and open competition brand name basis. Microsoft Office 2003 Professional Software is being procured because it is the standard office automation suite used throughout the Department of Defense Education Agency. The initial period of performance will be one year and is anticipated to be from 01 August 2006 through 31 July 2007 with an additional one-year option period. The estimated quantities is 3,000 licenses for the initial one year period and 3,000 for the option period. THE GOVERNMENT MAKES NO GUARANTEE AS TO THE ESTIMATED QUANTITY THAT WILL BE ORDERED. The quantity to be furnished under this contract shall be as specified in individual delivery orders. Delivery will be F.O.B. Destination within 30 days from date of the each delivery order. Specific details will be included in the Request for Proposal (RFP) Number HE1260-06-R-1007. The solicitation/RFP will be issued and posted in the Federal Business Opportunities website on or about June 7, 2006. The solicitation/RFP will close 30 days after the solicitation issue date. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Responses must include all information requested in the solicitation/RFP. Award will be issued under the authority of the test program for commercial items (FAR 13.5). The Department of Defense requires all contractors to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to receive any contract award or payment. The CCR website is: http://www.ccr.gov.
