Description

The National Park Service, Lake Mead NRA, intends to negotiate on a Sole Source basis with Advanced Resource Soultions for the following work. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Numbered Note 22 applies. This initiative includes the inventory phase in the development of an area-wide recreational inventory that will include motorized and non-motorized routes and recreational facilities. The purpose is to develop a consolidated GIS-based inventory of recreational routes and facilities to aid future planning efforts in the development of a plan that provides connectivity between the various jurisdictions that comprise the Las Vegas Valley and Clark County, Nevada. The survey area is defined as those federal lands located within Clark County under administration of the Bureau of Land Management, National Park Service, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the U.S. Forest Service immediately adjacent to the Las Vegas Valley. The Contractor shall provide an electronic data file and will accompany the inventory with factual information about each specific recreational feature. Such inventory will include a description of each route; its width, condition, type of construction (ditch and crown, single track, double track, etc.), surface, use, restrictions, destination(s), etc. Similar supporting data will be collected for other route-related recreational facilities. The period of performance is 270 days. The Solicitation will be available on or about 06/23/2006. No paper solicitation documents will be issued.
