- The Bureau of Reclamation Snake River Area Office in Burley, ID has a requirement for a Seed Drill. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format at FAR 12.6, as supplemented in accordance with the format included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation. The Request for Quotes (RFQ) is being issued as 06SQ140037; and proposals (including the completed FAR 52.212-03 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, if not registered in ORCA) are due on June 28, 2006. The RFQ incorporates revisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-09. This is a total small business set aside. The NAICS code is 333111 Farm Machinery and Equipment Manufacturing, the small business standard is 500 employees. The Government anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation on or about July 6, 2006, that is most advantageous to the Government. THE REQUIREMENT: 1) One (1) Seed drill in either 5-ft or 7-ft width with the following attachments: Rear mounted legume attachment, rear mounted native grass attachment, depth band, depth band scraper, and agitator. Specifications: a) Weight - NOT over 2000 lbs; b) Seeder Width - 5ft or 7 ft ; c) Double Disc; d) Independent (flex) arms for planting uneven ground; e) Seeder spacing NO MORE than 7 inches; f) depth bands; g) 2 boxes (two seed or one seed, one fertilizer to accommodate variable seed sizes); h) Agitator in boxes; i) Concave packer wheels; j) Coulter. Delivery shall be FOB destination to Minidoka Field Station, 951 E. Minidoka Dam Road, Rupert ID 83350 on or before September 15, 2006. YOU ARE ENCOURAGED TO SUBMIT QUOTES ELECTRONICALLY.
