Description
The U.S. Army Communications Electronics Life Cycle Management Command (C-E-LCMC) intends to solicit proposals on a competitive basis to all General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) holders under Special Item Number (SIN) 1 32-8 for 16,500 Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Vehicle Adapter Amplifier (VAA) Systems, 33,000 HHR Lightweight Headset with Accessories, 1,650 Battery Chargers, 6-slot, 1650 Radio Programming Software with Cable, 1,650 Cloning Cable, 1,650 Retransmission Cable and COTS VAA Ten Year Extended Warranty. The Government will issue a solicitation within the next 5 days. The items are to be shipped via Commercial Packing and delivered to the Red River Depot in Texarkana, TX. It is anticipated that there will be m ore than one award made for Firm Fixed Price Contracts through a Best Value approach. Deliveries shall begin no later then 180 days after award in accordance with the contractors proposed delivery schedule as evaluated. The anticipated award date is 30 Ju ne 2006. The approximate value of the total award to be made is $353.5M. The Solicitation will be posted on the GSA Advantage website (www.gsaadvantage.gov) and proposals will be received though the Interactive Business Opportunities Page (IBOP) (https://a bop.monmouth.army.mil/). The United States Army C-E-LCMC has established the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) IBOP to provide electronic transmittal of RFPs from the Government to Industry. All interested parties wishing to do business with C-E-LCMC ar e encouraged to register as a user in advance of the anticipated RFP issuance and to check the IBOP frequently for updates. To become a user of the IBOP you will need a User Identification and Password in addition to a computer terminal equipped with the n ecessary hardware and software to interface with the IBOP system. Offers MUST REGISTER with the IBOP prior to submitting a proposal.
