- Description
- Rock Island Arsenal/Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (RIA/JMTC), Rock Island, IL, intends to award a one-year Requirements contract with four option years for Engineering and Production Support Services. Minimum quantity is $500,000.00. Es timated maximum is $25,000,000.00 over five years. This solicitation uses commercial contracting procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12. This will be a 100% small business set-aside. RIA/JMTC plans to award to the lowest-price, technically acceptable , responsive, responsible offeror. Offerors must provide evidence of experience performing contracts of this scope and size. Past performance may be evaluated. This contract will cover peaks/spikes/overflow in the regular workload. This contract shall supplement in-house, organic engineering-related and production capabilities at RIA/JMTC. Tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following: NC programming, tool designing, mechanical engineering, engineering software support (e.g., Unigraphics, T DM, CAPP, Pro-E, etc.), process planning, welding engineering, metallurgy, chemistry, industrial engineering, plant layout, Welding, Electrical Wiring, Electronic Industrial Controls Repair, Machining (Conventional and NC), toolmaking, production controll ing and managing, and economic analyses for purchase of industrial capital equipment. Work may also require various supporting administrative functions. The contractor will be required to maintain a part-time/full-time supervisory presence at RIA/JMTC. Contractor will provide all necessary Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for performance of duties (i.e., safety shoes, prescription safety glasses, etc.). Contractor is responsible for all security screening of contractor employees. All comput er work will be performed onsite at the RIA/JMTC, on the RIA/JMTC equipment, using only approved RIA/JMTC software. An offerors mailing list will not be maintained.
