- Description
- Procurement of approximately 3,000 US ARMY Windbreakers, Black, Polyester/Wool and Removable Liner as per USPD S-05-89 and amendment #6 & #7 for United States Military Academy. This will be for both the Male and Female officer style jackets. An optio n year will be included for an estimated 2,000 2,200 additional windbreakers in the option year. Award consideration will be made only to qualifying vendors whose products are qualified and certified by US Army Natick at the time of award. The attention of the contractors is called to these requirements, and manufacturers are urged to arrange to have the products they propose to offer to the USMA tested for qualification in order that they may be eligible to be awarded a contract or orders for the product s covered by this solicitation. Information pertaining to certification/qualification of products may be obtained from Product Manager-Clothing & Individual Equipment US Army Research, Development and Engineering Command. Expected delivery date will be 60 days from notification of award and delivery will be FOB Destination West Point, NY 10996. This procurement will be a 100% small business set aside. Manufactured products must be from domestic sources. See numbered note 1as this is a 100% set aside for a small business.
