- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation FA4877-06-Q-0310 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-09. (iv) This procurement is being issued as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS set-aside under NAICS code 811219 and small business size standard $6,000,000. (v) The contractor shall provide the following items: 24EA, Or equal-- ID-62-6812-501 R/O, FF-2 Hitefinder Servicing (The servicing consists of: tear down and disassembly of all assemblies and sub-assemblies, examination of critical components, replace standard unserviceable components (this includes components requiring replacement for upgrade to latest issue) and any other damaged or worn components, torque test on aneroid capsule, ultrasonic cleaning of all components, timing and altitude checks and adjustments as required, final assembly and inspection, The procedure includes a complete re-calibration and post-inspection process; and the mechanism is accordingly certified to conform with all applicable technical and operational specifications). ; 30EA, Or equal-- ID-62-6639-501 Cable and Housing Assy 10?. Houses the automatic ripcord cable for the parachute. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies. Quotes will be evaluated on price. (x) Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at, 52.204-8, Annual Representations and Certifications and submit with its offer.
