- Description
- The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Tele Atlas North America, 11 Lafayette Street, Lebanon, NH 03766. The acquisition is for the annual renewal of licenses fee for the usage of nationwide geospatial data for the period of twelve (12) months. The proposed purchase order is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with Tele Atlas North America under the test program described in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR ), Subpart 13.5, and under authority 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been justified, certified and approved for Tele Atlas North America. The following FAR Part 12.3 provisions and clauses are applicable to this acquisition. 52.212-1(Jan.2006) Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Item, 52.212-3 (Mar 2005) Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Item, 52.212-4 (Sep. 2005) Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items. 52.212-5 (Apr. 2006) Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. The NAICS Code is 541519 (Other Computer Related Services). The small business size is $23 million. The Government anticipates the award on a firm-fixed price purchase order. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available. Closing date is June 12, 2006 at 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. See Note 22.
