Description

In accordance with FAR subpart 6.302-5(a) and 6.302.7(a) (2), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Center for Environmental Health (NCEH) intends to issue a purchase order in the amount of $100,000.00 for co-sponsor with the Foundation for Health (FunSalud) to assist in the co-sponsorship of six (6) training workshops on the Water PLUS / Agua y MAS concept that includes the WHO Water Safety Plans methodology and basic sanitation and hygiene training for the South America region. CDC is invited to assist with the planning, preparation, and execution of these meetings. Dates are to be determined. CDC/NCEH feel that participation in these workshops will further CDC?s mission by informing and promoting good environmental health practices in Latin America, as well as, fostering good working relationships with U.S. government institutions, national ministries of health and ministries of the environment, and international organizations.
